Stop Collars

Slip on Stop collars WS SS SC  feature a row of set screw to hold the stop collar in its place ,this type of Slip on stop collar gives the highest holding force and can be used with all type of Centralizers due to its low width.

 

It can be tightened using allen key upto approx. 25 to25ft-lb force

Hinged with Spiral Nails (WS HSNSC ) uses spiral nails to hold the stop collar in its place it has two grooves on both side of the stop collars in which tow or four spiral nails can be inserted depending upon the size of stop collars to hold these stop collars in place , one end of the stop collar is provided with hinged connection whilele the open portion of the stop collar is locked together by inserting a nail to lock the stop collar on the casing and subsequently these spiral nails are inserted between casing and stop collar to hold the stop collar in palce.

Stop collars are hinged stop collars that use hardened inserts (dogs) to provide a positive lock onto the casing. The specially designed dogs bite into the casing, which provides the stop collar’s strong holding force. The recommended torque on the bolt is approximately 25 to 35 ft-lb. When properly installed, the hinged  stop collar can provide a holding force up to 40,000 lb.
